WEM 2023-24 Annual Congestion Report Datapack
=============================================

This data is designed to supplement the 2023-24 WEM Annual Congestion Report.
The report contains various summaries of the data provided in this datapack.
It contains information about every constraint (excluding formulation constraints)
that bound or violated in a Primary Dispatch Interval (PDI) during the 2023-24
Capacity Year (8:00 1 Oct 2023 to 7:55 1 Oct 2024).

The data is based on WEMDE dispatch data (case and solution files) as at 1st Dec
2024. The data pack is designed to assist any interested stakeholders conduct
further analysis on constraint results but is not designed to replace other
sources of WEMDE dispatch data. Hence in the case of any inconsistencies the
WEM dispatch data should be considered the source of truth.

"Constraint Metadata.csv" contains information about constraint equations that
bound/violated for at least one PDI. The information is as it appears in WEMDE
solution files, except the fields containing lists of terms ("leftHandSide" and
"rightHandSide" fields) have been excluded to allow for representation in a
tabulated (CSV) format. Instead, a "leftHandSideScript" field has been added
that represents the terms on the LHS of the equation. Note that the Constraint
Library can also be browsed on the WEM Congestion Information Resource web page.

"Constraint Results.csv" contains information on the intervals in which each of
the above constraints bound or violated, the value the LHS and RHS evaluates to,
the shadow price, and which version of the constraint was used in that interval.
The "status" column contains "B" if a constraint was binding, and "V" if the
constraint was violating. Note that this CSV file has more rows than can be saved
or displayed in an excel spreadsheet.
