Kirsten Rose

Kirsten Rose is responsible for leading AEMO’s Western Australian operations and enterprise strategy function.

Joining AEMO in August 2025, she is passionate about the power of innovation and new technologies and is drawn to solving the complex challenges of the energy transition.

With a career spanning over 30 years in the US, UK and Australia, Kirsten is a respected leader in the energy, resources, technology and innovation sectors. She serves as Director on the Pilbara Ports Board; a fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering (ATSE); and an active member of Chief Executive Women (CEW). She also brings a strong governance skillset from her executive role at the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
