Purpose of the OTS Code Panel

The Operational Transportation Service Code Panel (the Panel) supports the Pipeline Capacity Trading market by assessing and consulting on Code Amendment Proposals, submitted by participants, for changes to the Operational Transportation Service Code (the Code). 

The Code is a regulatory framework which enables a standard set of terms and conditions for the transportation of secondary gas capacity. The AER makes decisions on amendments to the Code. 

Code Amendment Proposals should be submitted to [email protected] using the template below.

OTS Code Panel members

The term of nominated representative positions, listed below, will end 31 December 2027. The panel members are detailed in the table below:

OTS Code Panel nominations

On 14 November 2025 , AEMO completed the nomination and election process outlined in the OTS Code Panel Election Procedures and Operating Manual for OTS Code Panel members for the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027. The following positions remain vacant:

  • one Transportation Service Provider Member
  • one Transportation Facility User (General) Member
  • one Transportation Facility User (Large Users) Member

As per section 2.4(ii) of the Procedure, the vacant Voter Categories will remain open until a nomination is received for a nominee that meets the Qualification Criteria.

As outlined in the Procedures, nominations for each vacant role must be made using the nomination form below and submitted to [email protected].
