Independent Expert Report - Directions to SA generators during billing weeks 49-52 2025

AEMO issued directions to generators in South Australia during billing weeks 49– 52 2025.

In accordance with NER Clause 3.15.7B (d), if AEMO considers that a claim by a directed participant is unreasonable, it must refer it to an Independent Expert to determine the additional compensation claims for the Directed participant.

AEMO nominated an Independent Expert on 6 March 2026 with no objections received. AEMO then appointed Sami Aoude from Intelligent Energy Systems Pty Ltd as the Independent Expert to determine compensation.
