Reserve Capacity Mechanism portal - Video demonstrations

As part of the annual Certified Reserve Capacity (CRC) process, Market Participants are required to submit certain information to AEMO via the Reserve Capacity Mechanism (RCM) portal, including CRC applications and Bilateral Trade Declaration nominations. The RCM portal is accessible via the Wholesale Electricity Market System Market Participant Interface (WEMS MPI).

To assist Market Participants in becoming familiar with the required actions to be performed in the RCM portal, AEMO has prepared a series of short demonstration videos. Additional guidance on the RCM portal is available in the WEMS MPI User Guide: Reserve Capacity Mechanism.

Note: These videos are provided for general guidance only. The steps to submit the required information for a CRC application may vary depending on the indicative Facility Class, Facility Technology Type, or application scenario. Market Participants should refer to the relevant Electricity System and Market (ESM) Rules and Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) Procedures to understand the CRC application requirements.
